We all know that it hurts like hell, that there’s a lot of blood and mucus, and that they cut the umbilical cord. Blegh. So I agreed to be present at the birth. What else could I do? Alina and I do everything together, and at such a crucial moment, I had to support her, especially since she herself said that it would be easier for her if I was there.
