Metal Family: A little about the plans. Probably our last video on YouTube.

AWAF to all. We've been putting this video off until the last minute, waiting for the situation to stabilize a little, but it seems the time has come. Not the best time. I apologize in advance if this comes off muddled and without lyrical digressions -- we're making this video in a hurry. Anyway, let's get to the point.

Any day now YouTube will get blocked. This means we won't be uploading new videos on this platform anymore. This concerns the Russian version, English version and the Xydownik channel. Obviously it's all been leading up to this: first we lost income due to sanctions prohibiting international transactions, then Xydownik channel's monetization, and now -- a kill shot to the head from Roskomnadzor. 

Instagram, as you know, was also blocked, and there's a possibility that soon it'll be hard to access it even with a VPN, so I wouldn't have high hopes for it either. It's a shame about Heavy and Lif's Instagram. I thought about moving them to TikTok, but, as you know, it was banned too. Temporarily, it seems, but it's still not a very solid thing. [On screen: Attention! TikTok suspends services in Russia due to the law on "fakes"] So sadly there won't be any new posts on Instagram and YouTube.

Next, the shop. Yeah, we understand no one's currently in the mood for shopping, plus due to sanctions it's impossible to pay for the orders outside of Russia, and as a result there are almost no sales. And we have to pay our employees. We're doing okay for now, but at this tempo I'm not sure we'll be okay for long. We'll probably switch to OZON or something. It'll be a shame to close down the website. We've just prepared the English version of the comic... but I guess it wasn't meant to be. And the idea of Ches' shop never came to fruition. Too bad, so much effort was put into it. Oh well. [On screen: CHES' SHOP. Here you can buy unique junk that nobody needs. 1. Broken tablet. 2. Set of pens. 3. First test comic.)

So, to sum it all up... Because of all this crap, we've lost almost all our sources of income, which were a big help to us. We raised the quality of the episodes and even slowly began to expand the animation team. [On screen: Compositing, Animation, Sound] But now everything came to a sudden halt, and we have to think about how to fix it. Again.

But we want to say right away that we are not going to give up, get discouraged, etc. While you're watching this video, we're continuously working on the new episode. And we'll keep working as long as we're physically able to. So the 3rd episode will come out regardless. [On screen: Much like the whole season!!!] But not on YouTube. We're currently reviewing possible alternatives. Maybe RuTube... though it's pretty ugly... VK -- I think you can set up monetization there somehow, but I'm not sure. Some streaming service as a last resort, but we'd prefer to have free subscriptions. So for now we're looking for views monetization. 

Where can you find us? Join our Telegram and VK. There we'll keep in touch with the audience, share news, etc. As far as I know, you can register on VK from other countries. For now. [On screen: This isn't an ad] All the new information will be mostly in the VK group. We're not fully satisfied with Telegram yet, since they don't give a fuck about copyright. I understand it's nice for consumers, but it completely devalues the hard work of authors.

That's it, I think we've covered all the main points. It's really sad. I want to say something inspiring, but I don't know what to say. Yes, everything's changed and won't be the same again. But the important thing is to stay strong and not let political games and propaganda ruin our relationships. Anyway, don't worry! And we'll continue to draw our story. I hope it'll please whoever watches it, no matter the nationality, religion and political views.
